What We Build.
Three core service areas. One consistent standard: production-ready software you're proud to put your name on.
Web Development
Fast, accessible, and built to scale.
From marketing sites that convert to complex SaaS platforms processing millions of transactions — we build web software that performs under pressure. We work across the full stack: Next.js and React on the frontend, Node.js or Python on the backend, and PostgreSQL, Redis, or whatever your data needs demand.
What's Included
- Marketing sites and landing pages with strong Core Web Vitals
- Full-stack web applications (SaaS, dashboards, portals)
- RESTful and GraphQL API design and development
- Database architecture and optimisation
- Authentication, authorisation, and security hardening
- CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Vercel, Railway)
- Performance audits and refactors of existing codebases
- Third-party integrations (Stripe, HubSpot, Salesforce, and more)
Mobile Apps
Native quality. Cross-platform efficiency.
We build React Native apps that feel genuinely native on both iOS and Android. We favour cross-platform development without sacrificing the fluidity users expect — smooth animations, reliable offline behaviour, and tight integration with device hardware and OS services.
What's Included
- React Native apps for iOS and Android from a single codebase
- Offline-first architecture with local data sync
- Push notifications and background processing
- Camera, GPS, Bluetooth, and sensor integrations
- App Store and Google Play submission and review support
- Backend API design tailored for mobile consumption
- Performance optimisation for low-end devices
- Ongoing maintenance and OS update compatibility
Custom Software
When off-the-shelf doesn't fit.
Some problems don't fit neatly into a SaaS product. We build bespoke software for businesses that need something tailored: automation pipelines, data processing systems, internal tooling, legacy migrations, and integrations between systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
What's Included
- Internal tools and admin dashboards
- Workflow automation and business process systems
- Data pipelines, ETL, and reporting infrastructure
- Legacy system modernisation and incremental migrations
- Custom integrations between disparate platforms
- Event-driven architectures and message queues
- Developer tooling and CLI applications
- Technical discovery and architecture consulting
How We Work
Every engagement follows a proven process — whether it's a two-week sprint or a six-month build.
Discovery
We start by understanding your business, users, and constraints. What problem are we solving? What does success look like? This shapes everything that follows.
Architecture
We design the system before writing code — data models, API contracts, infrastructure, and deployment strategy. No surprises mid-build.
Build & Ship
Iterative development with regular demos. We ship working software early and often, so you can see progress and give feedback in real time.
Support
Post-launch monitoring, bug fixes, and ongoing improvements. We don't disappear after deployment — the code is ours to maintain.
Common Questions
What technologies do you work with?
Our core stack includes C++, TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Docker, and Linux. We built the ReddCoin blockchain in C++ and have shipped production web and mobile apps with the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem since 2016.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A marketing site or MVP might take 2-4 weeks. A full-stack web application with custom backend typically runs 2-4 months. We scope every project in detail before starting so there are no surprises.
Do you work with startups or only established businesses?
Both. We've built MVPs for seed-stage startups and scaled platforms for established companies. The common thread is that our clients need reliable software built by people who understand the full stack.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We regularly inherit codebases from other teams or agencies. We start with a technical audit to understand what we're working with, then plan improvements incrementally — no big-bang rewrites unless they're justified.
What is ReddCoin and how does it relate to Redd Ink?
ReddCoin (RDD) is an open-source C++ cryptocurrency we launched in January 2014, designed for social media tipping. Building and maintaining a blockchain network that runs 24/7 on thousands of nodes gave us deep expertise in performance-critical, distributed software. That experience underpins everything we build at Redd Ink.
Not sure which service you need?
That's fine — most projects don't fit neatly into a category. Get in touch and we'll work it out together.
